This project is a re-imagined space development for 'Waste to Wonder' theme park, Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi.

The aim is to visually represent how the space can be better utilized in terms of space allocation and made more accessible for specially abled visitors. 

​

I worked on creating a 3D model for the entire space , with all the suggested improvements and accessibility measures.

Process

Primary Research

We visited the theme park , made notes of keys things such as circulation , signage and way-finding , availability of essentials ( restrooms , water coolers ) , information panels , baggage and security. We also interacted with a few user groups to understand the problems that they face and also collected their opinions on possible solutions for the problems.

Based on the research we re-mapped the entire space and added the solutions to make the space more user accessible. 

Solutions

To make the space accessible for such audience , we introduced miniatures of each wonder , which the visually impaired audience can interact to understand the shape and structure of the installation, assisted with a headset to give information about the same.
